The Montco health department just extended the “Code Blue” warning for an additional week, but the local watering holes have ensured that Eagles fans will have several warm and well-stocked venues in which they can view Sunday’s NFC Championship game.

The three bars at the Trappe Tavern will offer $2 Coors Light and $3 Blue Moon drafts to patrons enjoying the game on an enormous array of screens.

“There’s nowhere you can sit in here and not see the game from at least five TVs,” said owner Dave Duryea.

Patrons can also enter a drawing to win a $500 Best Buy gift card on Super Bowl Sunday. Duryea said people should arrive early to get a good seat.

“We open at 11 a.m.,” Duryea said. “If it’s anything like last weekend, it will be standing room only.”

Philly blues rock band and YouTube sensation, the Pawnshop Roses, will headline a tailgate party and pep rally from 1-3pm at DaVinci’s Pub in Collegeville.

$1 Miller Lite drafts will be available during the tailgate party and $2 domestic drafts will be on tap for the game. “Chef’s Homemade Chili,” which sounded pretty good to us, will be $4.95 per bowl.

Clam junkies should head to Sly Fox on Lewis Road in Royersford, where half-price steamers will be available from noon to 10 p.m. 35-cent wings and $2.50 pints (specialty beers excluded) will complement a selection of sandwich and entree specials.

Across the street from Sly Fox, Chic Snyder’s will have 25-cent wings, $2.75 Miller Lite pints, and the game viewable on eight screens.
