What started as a local effort to preserve the abandoned Pennhurst buildings has grown into a much larger movement, according to group organizers. J. Gregory Pirmann, a former state hospital employee at the East Vincent facility, and Pottsgrove High School graduate Nathaniel Guest recently announced to formation of a new organization and a board of directors.
