With a new Wegman's store scheduled to open next month, shoppers in the Lower Perkiomen region will have another grocery option along the Route 422 corridor. The Upper Providence Fire & Emergency Services Board on Wednesday evening discussed some of the finer, albeit less sexy points: fire sprinklers, hydrants and other features that will protect the public once Providence Town Center opens for business.
